Michael Thomas serves as Vice President, Business Development for RedShift Networks. In this role, he creates and executes strategic alliances, global partner programs, channel initiatives, OEM initiatives communication provider ecosystem business development and go-to-market execution to drive substantial business (revenue) impact. Mr. Thomas’s successful track record throughout his career includes developing and leading global organizations, including GE Digital as the Global Microsoft Alliance Leader, Active Worldwide, Inc. as consulting lead to Huawei (Board level), Fusion IO and several start-ups; Cisco, where he developed and led their two (2) largest global partnerships; IBM 1997-2003; HP (2003- 2009); and the UCS (Data Center) ecosystem in 2009-10.
Mr. Thomas holds an MBA in Computer Science and Marketing from the University of Dayton, Graduate School of Business. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance and Political Science from Ashland University where he co-captained the Track and Cross-Country team and helped lead the Economic Fellowship Student Judicial Board.
